Alfred Leung

My love for photography comes from my father who first showed me how to use his bellow camera when I was a teenager. This love runs in the family. My older brother is an enthusiast and acquired a number of film cameras and photography journals, which became my main source of information before I left Hong Kong to study in the United States.

I think photography is the Art of Seeing. It is a lens through which I learn to understand, and be a part of this world. Whether things near or remote, sublime or provoking, photography helps me to observe, ask questions, and find answers. My goal is to practice and be part of this endeavor, without particular preferences to genres or mediums.
